Getting To Know You

Introductions are in order.  I’ll start.  I am KC Hopkins: writer, teacher, and mother by occupation.  All of this can get a little hectic and I am always looking for resources and ways to share with others who know more than I do.  I also get to do some pretty fun things.  I created Write, Teach, Laugh as a way to share what I am up to and connect with other writers, teachers, and readers.

I have written a young readers historical fiction mystery available on Amazon and online at Barnes and Noble.   I have also finished my book about ‘finding the funny’ in living with a toddler with Sensory Processing Disorder based on my blog of her antics that can be found here.  My third book, a fun and witty love story set in 1850s New Orleans is coming along nicely.  Having grown up in south Louisiana, this one has been great fun to work on.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and come back often.  We can write, teach, laugh, and learn together.  Feel free to introduce yourself in the comments below!

  1. Hi KC,
I’d like to nominate your blog for the Liebster award. I’m planning a post (probably for next weekend) that outlines the idea. Would you accept?

  2. Hi! I love your blog and have nominated you for the Sunshine Award. Please don’t feel obliged to accept if it’s not your kind of thing but I hope you are pleased to be nominated anyway! Thanks for all the inspiration! Here is a link to my own post about the award: http://crescentnumbernine.wordpress.com/2013/04/28/its-gonna-be-a-bright-bright-sunshiny-day/
